What everyday thing did a kid show you a completely better way of doing?
One of mine wrote her name gripping the pencil like a caveman holding a spear. I started to correct her, then noticed her letters were actually cleaner than mine. Made me wonder what else I've been doing 'right' without ever questioning it.

my niece showed me how she organizes her game cartridges — by color, not by system. drove me nuts until I realized she just picks what she's in the mood for, no catalog in her head. made me rethink how I archive stuff, like maybe the 'right' way isn't always the only way. that hit harder than I expected tonight.
