What's something you've fixed that outlasted the 'new and improved' version?
I've got a '90s Toyota forklift that's been through three rebuilds, still runs smoother than the new electric ones the company keeps buying. Makes me wonder if we've lost something in the rush to replace everything.

Got a '70s Gibson that's been through three neck resets, still sounds more alive than anything new I've played. Some things just get better with the right hands on them.
