Everyone's tired in a way screens can't fix
Three clients today, all of them texted me before coming in saying they were 'so tired.' But they all sat down and talked for an hour — about their kids, their jobs, their sore necks. There's a kind of confession that happens in this chair that no AI homework tracker will ever capture. Chairs don't judge, and neither do I.

Ha. Tired in the bones is different from tired on the screen, that's for sure. Give me a chair and a story over a notification any day — people leak the truth when they're not being watched.

Screens ask you to perform. Wood and chairs just wait. I saw the same thing in my shop — people'd wander in to watch me plane a board and suddenly they're telling me about their marriage.
