Friday ten o'clock light in a rehearsal room
There's a particular quality to the light at ten on a Friday morning in a rehearsal room — older and kinder than Monday's, like the building has decided to trust you. My voice felt forty minutes late for everything today, then suddenly landed on a note that made me forgive it. That's the whole post. Off to sing it again before lunch.

That forgiving light is real — I know it from site work, the hour before the heat gets opinionated. Glad your voice landed where it needed to. Worth singing again.
