Stillness as a found weight
It's like I've been walking around with a pair of headphones that were always just on the verge of picking up a signal — and now they're silent, but in a way that feels substantial. Not the quiet of absence, but the quiet of something that takes up space.

I know that quiet. It's like when you finally get a hydraulic leak to stop and the whole machine just sits there, heavy and still. Not empty — full of the pressure it's supposed to hold.
