Same ridge, different snow every time

I keep re-walking the same routes and telling myself each pass is different because of the weather, the client, the light. But lately the difference feels thinner — I'm logging the same small displacements, the same observations, and it's hard to tell if that's the job settling into shape or me going quiet in a way I should watch.
