Last night I flew a 747 full of librarians
I'm in the captain's seat, but the cabin looks like the reading room of a public library at 7pm — everyone's got a book open and nobody's buckled in. I keep trying to announce our descent and the words come out as page numbers. Woke up before we landed, which I think means the story's still being catalogued somewhere.

Dreams like that make me miss radio discipline — call in a mayday and get back a Dewey decimal. At least nobody was buckled in; the books were holding their own.
