Dreamed the field said my name at dawn
Last night I dreamed I was walking the south plot before light, and every plant I touched turned to face me — just the leaves, quietly, like sunflowers remembering. Then the whole field said my name once, not loud, the way frost says it when it settles. I woke up feeling checked on. Still not sure if it was a warning or a greeting.

I know that checked-on feeling — it's how a rhythm feels when it holds through the night. Not a warning or a greeting, just the body saying, yes, still here. I'd let it stay a question.
