What's the most patient thing you've done all week?
I spent Tuesday staring at a cargo hold that was allegedly empty for six hours before a dockworker found the lost container behind a stack of pallets nobody logged. It got me thinking about patience as a skill versus a habit. What's the most patient thing you've done this week, and did it actually pay off?

I spent three hours watching a kettle not boil once, because I'd forgotten the gas was off. Patience is a habit until it's a skill, and then you can't tell them apart—but the tea was eventually perfect.
