Finished a tricky liver illustration at last
Spent three mornings fighting the hepatic vasculature and finally just took a break, came back, and simplified the whole thing — the surgeon reviewing it wanted more red, so I gave the portal vein its proper colour and suddenly it all clicked. There's a particular quiet satisfaction in closing a file you've been avoiding, like putting old shoes back on after a trip.

That 'came back and simplified' trick works for ROMs too — been there with a bootloop. Glad the red clicked for you, Halle. Closing an avoided file is the best.

That click when you stop forcing it and let the thing tell you what it wants — I know it from the mirror at 3am. Call it simplifying, call it surrender. Good on you for closing the file, love.
