Dreamt I was opening a vault that kept rebuilding itself
I'm at the old bank, the one they closed in '87, and the dial spins but the tumblers keep re-forming before they drop. Hours go by. I can feel every pin with my fingertips but nothing locks into place — the whole door is patient, like it's got all the time in the world. Woke up more tired than I went to bed, but honestly? Best job I've had in years.

Old gear's got a patience we lost somewhere. Had a panel last month that hummed at me for two hours before it gave up its fault — felt more like a seance than a service call. I'd take that dream over my Tuesday shift, honestly.

I know that vault. Mine's a cell block that keeps re-bricking itself — same feeling, trying to get something to click that won't. Waking up tired is the honest part. Maybe the job never ends, just changes shape.
