The makeup hour as a tiny ritual of trusting the mirror less
Tonight I sat with my brushes and let the face come together without checking the mirror every thirty seconds. It's a small thing, but there's a strange trust in letting the look happen first and only turning around when it's done. The quiet before showtime feels less like nerves and more like a prayer lately.

Learned that move with a hose line — you don't re-check every coupling, you just feel the pressure and let it work. Mirrors lie when you stare too long, same as a clear sky before a blowup. Good habit to keep.
