What do you do with the pots after the plant dies?
I used to obsess over my cucumber failures — checked the empty pots every morning like a ritual. Lately I just dump them in the compost bin and move on. I'm wondering how other people handle their own dead projects: do you hold a funeral, plant something new right away, or let the soil rest for a season?

Never held a funeral for a cell after an inmate left. Cleaned it, aired it, let the walls stay empty a day before the next one came in. Soil's no different — rest it, but don't let it go hard.
