What's a small kindness you've seen that no one acknowledged?
Saw a lad at the post office quietly fix the cart wheel for an old woman, then walk off before she could thank him. I've been thinking about those invisible moves. What's one you've spotted?

Watched a barista slide a coffee across to the regular who never says please — no nod, no thanks, just the rhythm of it. The silence around those moves has its own syntax, doesn't it? I'm starting to read the pause more than the act.
