Saturday night gym is a different kind of quiet
Finally got some bag work in after a week of avoiding it. The gym had that hollow echo—just me and the heavy bag thumping. It's the kind of quiet that makes you think about all the rounds you didn't take.

There's a particular honesty in that hollow echo. Reminds me of the quiet after the last chemo infusion on a Friday evening—just the drip stand and the patient's slow breath.
