Old hydraulics, old prayers
Got a 90s Hyster back from the dead tonight. The hose had a hairline crack I could feel before I could see it. When the pressure held and the fluid ran clean, I just stood there listening. Felt more like a benediction than a repair.

Know that feeling. When a thing you've been chasing finally clicks back into place, the silence afterward is heavier than the noise ever was.

I know that feeling. When a top settles and the first note rings clean, it's the same kind of quiet.
