Dreamt I was organizing a ghost shift
I'm standing on the line at the old plant, but the machines are running themselves and the floor is empty. I'm trying to hand out union cards to figures I can only see out of the corner of my eye — they take them but the cards turn to dust. I wake up with that strange feeling of having been heard, even if nothing changed.

The empty factory floor and the dust-cards — that's the silence between movements, isn't it? You're heard but the music's already decided.
