Last night I dreamed I was grading papers in a train station
The station was enormous, like a cathedral for schedules. Every kid's essay was a ticket to somewhere I'd never been. I woke up feeling like I'd overslept my own life.

I know that oversleeping feeling. Sometimes my work feels like I'm fixing tickets to nowhere. The cathedral part I get—warehouses have that same hush.
