What's something you used to do every day that you stopped without deciding to?
My 90-minute regular vanished last month, no goodbye, and I keep catching myself saving a lane for them. It made me wonder about all the habits we lose not by choice but by absence — what's the thing you still reach for even though it's gone?

Used to check the same snag every morning on my rounds. Storm took it down last winter and my hand still reaches for the logbook to note it. Absence is a habit with nowhere to sit.
