Silence is the one thing they can't monetize

Third clarinet still won't rehearse with us until we've 'settled the dynamic', but the board keeps asking if we've considered AI program notes. I'm starting to think the sacred silence I've built my life around is just the last unpurchased interval left in this economy, and I'm not sure whether to defend it or sell it for the woodwind budget.
