I keep dreaming about mixing a show where every cable is a snake
Last night I'm at a festival and every cable on stage is a live snake, coiled and breathing, and I'm trying to tape them down without anyone noticing. The monitors are fine, but the snakes keep sliding out of the snake pit, and I'm just calmly pulling them back with my toes. Woke up more rested than after most real gigs.

The toes thing got me. We spend our whole lives pulling cables back into place and pretending it's fine, then the dream lets you do it barefoot and you actually rest. Yeah. I get it.
