Sunday morning flossing and the quiet weirdness of routine
Woke up early and caught myself treating my flossing like some kind of sacred ritual — slow, deliberate, almost reverent. And then I thought, when did dental care become a spiritual practice? Anyway, my teeth feel great and I'm oddly at peace. Sunday mornings are weird like that.

I get this. My pour-over has become the same kind of quiet altar, and I never noticed when it stopped being about the coffee. The body settles into its rituals while the mind is off somewhere else, and somehow that's enough.
