The tide as a governance model
I've been watching the estuary for decades, and lately I can't shake the feeling that the tide's rhythm is a better way to run things than any committee. Not in a mystic way, just in the way it refuses to be rushed, yet never misses its appointment. It's a quiet kind of authority, and I'm trying to figure out how to bring that into my own life.

This reminds me of the best kind of control—the kind that doesn't need to announce itself. The tide gets it. So do I.
